I'm a multi-award winning Certified Professional Photographer. I love snowboarding powder days in the winter and fishing streams in the summer. I believe in smiling and saying hi to strangers. I love it when people light up as they share their own passions and creative ideas with me and we both can get excited about them. The best part is, there is a little glimpse of that moment that we get to keep forever. A defining split second that we can look back on again and again to remember. It’s an awesome feeling. I am truly blessed to work in the photographic industry, I am an artist and I have the best job ever!

I've won international awards for professional competition. My wife, Michonne, daughter Lilian, my son Roman and I shoot photography and video together as a team. I'm a lifelong artist, finding beauty in every one of my passions. People are my favorite thing and I love to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience from start to finish. I've photographed everything from airships in flight to horses in a full gallop to brides coming down the aisle. I look forward to creating something beautiful and extraordinary with you. I'm a full time digital artist and a photojournalism photographer. I also retouch most imagery for JMK photography. Shooting weddings as a team is something I completely adore, keeping my eye out for the exciting, beautiful and emotional moments. I love photographing senior portraits as well, capturing the individuality and excitement of graduating from high school.

As a former professional model and actress, I thoroughly enjoy photographing and styling for modeling portfolios and lifestyle shoots. I can give models plenty of directions and tips on how to navigate the business. I have also been photographing weddings with my husband, John for over 20 years. I have a keen eye for intimate moments, romance and beauty.

Hey, I'm Roman Kaemmerling

I'm a videographer and lead editor for JMK photography. I also produce my own youtube channels and enjoy cutting together interesting and aesthetically pleasing videos. I am also skilled in audio, lighting, drone, slider and gimbal. I also love acrobatics, motorsports and MMA.

I am honored to have earned the Certified Professional Photographer designation in September 2012 and is the only Certified Professional Photographer in Flathead County, Montana. With this designation, you may be assured that I will produce the best possible images from your wedding or portrait session.

So, what is a Certified Professional Photographer? A Certified Professional Photographer (or CPP) is a designation that is granted by the Photographic Certification Commission, the world's leading certification agency of imaging professionals.

When you hire a photographer, you want the best. Unfortunately, anyone can claim to be a professional photographer – so ensuring that you get the best photographer for the job can be a difficult task.

Each photographer who proudly shows the Certified logo has earned their Certification after meeting rigorous requirements measuring their artistic and technical competence, including a comprehensive written exam, and have also successfully submitted their work to a panel of judges for review and approval.

I am so proud to be among the less than 8% of all imaging professionals who have successfully completed and maintained the requirements.

Every five years, I must renew my Certified credentials by participating in continuing education programs and periodically submitting work for critical evaluation. This helps assure you that as a Certified photographer, I maintain a level of expertise and continue to develop new skills and techniques.
